Aunt's special treat!

i am so lucky! think thats how most of us (my family) feels! after the saturday party, before we left, we were surprised to hear uncle m informing us that tomolo the party continues... at Ah Yat Restuarant. So on Sunday 28th Sept, we met again in the evening to gather to celebrate my aunt's Big day!


the boys esp gx was alittle affected cos its F1 final nite race in singapore. but we were glad to find out that the room has ktv, 2 flat screens and it has tv receptions! so we had the one nearest to us showing the race while those who are singing had to face the other screen.

way before we ate, we were served champagne. i love champagne but it has to be cold thou. the dishes started with the soutao. followed by a cold meat dish which was not bad. then the crispy sucking piggy was nice.


wooo the next dish was sharks fin. it was good and i like that they put the beansprouts aside allowing people to add according to their liking. then really we had bao yu. the abalone. cos this restuarant is known for its abalone dishes. it was nice! next to the abalone was prob duck feet.

yes we wore our "lovers tees" ... the tees he bot for me as anniversary present... haha his is considered my present too. as we sang through the nite, watch f1, play with kidos, te adults took the opportunity to talk and share their feelings... and of cos the food didnt stopped! next after the tummy warming soup and lovely abalone, we had prawns with snow peas.

what i love about steam fish in restaurant is that they smell so good, the soya sauce smell, makes me wana eat the fish! next we had crab. ALASKAN CRAB. thats not all.... its cooked in FOI GRAS sauce... yes we did taste the foi gras and the was black pepper in it but of cos its not the usually dosage of black pepper and i love the taste of it! first time ever for all of us eating foi gras alaskan crab!

the veg soup was a little weird cos the veg is very bitter but the soup taste good... fried rice to end the savoury part of dinner but i spiced it up with the remaining foi gras. then we had toasting! i drank several glasses of champagne through the dinner! i say prob 6-7glasses? drank alot that nite. and sure did my uncles too....


dinner ended with my favourite xue ge. gx and i was being crazy with the camera since he commented i had such a greedy look when my favourite is served! he like onee better! it was an enjoyable dinner!!
