BAD DAY! start singing...

woke up late very late for work! 7am thats terrible! got out and no cab and people fighting to say who's right in line . this guy jus stand a few steps away from "the taxi stand" people take it as a taxi stand & q cos loads of taxi wait there and people do line up but in actual fact is a shelter. that guy jus pretending trying his luck to cut but the fact is there is no CAB!

i took train, once i alight i dash and almost got thigh cramps... haven been exercising legs felt achy. walked and try see if theres cab but none empty. got there in time to bring students to class best part is with 3 absent from my duty team there was only tabby at playground and the otr at bus duty! so ganna complain say must b on time! some people late for duty and sneak down nothing wrong cos dun tink will ever ganna complain. guess y! its jus my haha my guess some da xiao bao gao lah if not how come got such email to shoot about duty and of cos its jus so coincidence!

just my luck! went facial to cleanse up and relax hate the whole day nothing goes right! tot its over till met sis at esprit. after trying some tops i actually lost my own esprit black sweater! hate today.

its not gog its come to stay in me ... hate it.

went borders to clear vouchers b4 it expires on 31jan. got a new saefood cookbook and a cooking journal to record mums dishes. got 3 bottles of body foam from marks & spenser all different scents! lemon & ginger : spa like very gingery, china blue : nice bubble gummy scent , my favourite cocoa & butter creamy foam and a papaya scrub. heavy...

wanted to go sushi tei but so far and its raining and all i wanted there was to eat the mayo prawns with cavier... went to isetan dabao sushi instead. saw chen liping at sushi counter. got jap crab sushi on sweet bean skin... the crab was good. my favourite would be the ones with big round orangy salmon i tink eggs. and we got the eel which was nice too. my dear hubby got a whole black peppered chicken. there was a strawberry fair... jap strawberries... i counted about 7 same size not small like the australia ones... for $16.90. it looks equally red and good. no way to spend such money... if not gog hk mayb to jus try how good cos got fren say its the bestest. sad no brown pear.

watched the LAKEHOUSE finally. like it. rested and went to fetch his parents and went out again last night to meet Soh, Helen, Mic, Agnes for supper everyone was too full to have to much so we had satay. store 7 & 8 at lau pa sat not nice. rain come and go we all discuss about hols. M&A jus came bac from 2wks in Taiwan, HK & Macau so they carried bac for us brochures its pretty heavy stack! and its only half of it! on 1st Feb S&H flying to korea. sweet for 10days and for us we gota wait till March end to fly. everything haven't evern booked!

gota be hard working gog to do our booking and iternery to max out stay!

brown pear

almost whole week no entry... busy... sleeping.

been very tired. flu probably never left jus gave me a little break and its back! how tiring to have to keep entertaining these bugs. i feel like waste they are zapping all my energy! hate sneezing errrrr....

let me recall... actually this is a little test for me... see how much i can remember and how long i take to recall the events of the week! Monday was jus school then home with lobster salad sushi. oh and crazy leh i actually watched TENNIS its was Nadao (deep-set eyes Spain guy who i admire his fighting spirit bt my father-in-law cannot tahan his little actions to distract opponents! but i know he still likes to watch this guy play!) and i can't remember who he play with. but he was not bad too cos they total play 5 sets. I watched starting around 6pm then i told FIL that they mit play till 11pm ... hey surely did man. its almost 5hrs standing and whacking and actually witting against each other. exciting i was glued to the box but i did turn to other channels to watch oher program lah but last set nobody touch the control! score Nadao won.. i actually supports him cos i like the willpower!

Tuesday... school then home.

Wednesday... school then northpoint. cos i wanted to walk around then go back to mums straight bus from yishun. bought $50 from esprit outlet. $10 for a white tanktop, $15.90 for another white shortsleeve tee and $29.90 for a very red sweater (alittle like ah ma but i love it esp the little red round plastic buttons!) its about almost 70% off. then i spent almost another $50 on Japanese tidbits i bought 2 sets of stuff for mums and mum-in-law for CNY. Got home i finish one of the packet of japanese tiny crackers that has got cheese and almond... yes whole packet of mayb 20 little crackers... it was good. i know but bad decision.

thursday emmmm... school then home slept early very tired.

yesterday friday while waiting to meet dap to get stuff i walked around and bought some stuff...again. my main aim there was to consider whether to buy a new hp cos school got cheap corporate plans. like the gold d&g but with the price i can fly to hk loh. considering motorlora razor z3. bought a dice game. its like this...

gerald sis bought home one last week its cute! mines for mums place so that this year got new game to play during cny. went popular got this $6.90 small HEALTH BOOK titled Prevention. with these headlines...

I hear laughter! As i read i will be typing out some advice i get from the book. anyway tot will be sleeping early but in the end Ah Hock asked us out (hardly so i gave up sleep) so we went Thomson prata. back at 2am...

woke up at ten this morning first thing was to open the book and went thru some pages. I am actually very afraid of my memory. there are times i easily forget and so hard then can recall stuff so in the book its says

2. Watch less than 1 hour of TV daily (IMPOSSIBLE!)

3. Read Novels ( i got the books 3 of them all still NEW!)

7. KEEP A JOURNAL! thats why i say i am testing my memory!

its says to work on long term memory is to try to recall what happened 1, 5, 20 years ago so its healthy to keep trying to remember what happened during school days, how got courted, wedding day lah and holidays. then on working memory like whats on the shopping list, ability to hang on to others' faces, names and jobs. the above are ways to improve MEMORY!

mum gave me advice and i guess its a final warning...
i like it when she cares. but its not my choice. i am jus caught in between everywhere. what can i do? moreover the dangers are drawing nearer and its gog to be endless. Chinese new year is in 3 weeks time or less last 15 days. that how not to feast? especially her cooking and endless yusheng parties!

mum says i should cut my weight.
contradiction : don't do exercises that needs to run, jump or stretch too much.
what should i do? i oso dun wan to be like that... cut down on eating ... seriously i dun overeat or party everyday... once in a blue moon i get dessert. thats to cheer myself up.

how lucky can i get? didn't wanna post this but i can't help keep tinkg about it!
did tell shanice about it and no i didn't win my 4d so no coach bag... but i was either lucky or unlucky to actually see the "baby" coach bag on the train. Its not available yet in Spore stores but i actually gota see it on the mrt... a tourist lady was carrying it its so pretty ...the bag a beauty... hers was brown can't imagine the baby blue then! cos when i saw brown in the website its looks okie no as nice but the real thing looks not bad so imagine the baby blue! love the size too ... she had no kidos around her so she was using it as a normal bag too... when! can i strike enough 4d haha cos money all tight up for eating and shopping in hk... now still gota look for accomodation! errrr....

sick... sick of everything when i am sick.
yesterday was a lousy day.
told a sub to go somewhere else cos i was doing duty at the shaded spot oredi its my turn there!gana complain by her who didnt do her job, avoiding sunlight the whole week and its always people who are just part-time! bitches shouldn't take up such job if they are looking for an easy way out! its a sunshine job at recess i had enough of them taking the money and wriggle to shady area when its duty time!
no collegues going for the friday dinner and too sick to stand around to "mingle"
mingle with??? cos really no one i know is attending... so i stay at home till mum say she need my card to buy baking stuff for chinese new year goodies. went down to have dinner with her, aunts nesa then bro & gf. i was unhappy with bro as usual breaking promises. hate it.
went home called serena to see where to meet them waited for gerald to come home and i fell asleep... he didnt wake me. i seem far from recovering not happy feel so letargic all the time i got this very xianz feeling still even now since i woke up at 12pm.
its bro's bdae today.
thought of the weeek: been listening to a new cantonese cd i bought. all duets. wonder if we are listening to the same songs. alive or dead? love the songs in this cd. realistic i guess.

rainy days

i am finally sick.

i am surprise to have survive from flu till now ...

the whole of dec beens raining and i was almost but not down with it... rain lasted on off in jan but its was worse cos its sunny rain or drizzling then grey skies... i had my 1st flu vaccination today. tot it mit help in future but jus heard from jaz its worse cos she had more flu then ever! fingers-crossed! anywhere Jan been a slow start yet time pass fast...contridiction. not as many weekend programme but its oredi 3rd week of Jan.

finally went out with serene last friday for dinner ...the whole of 2006 didnt see her more than 5 times. we finally met up for a nice dinner. Gerald went for his collegues' wedding at carlton we both went chijmes. we had japanese teppanyaki ... the chef was talkative... kept teasing the customers and there was a angmo boy who went speechless in shock when the chef BLEW fire...lucky he didnt cry...

the best part of this dinner is we had chicken, seafood like a whole slice of salmon in eggy sauce. I liked the mayo prawns best! (the smallest portion left on the foto cos its was so good) we gals chatted till we were the las customers. went on to a bar where i had my lychee martini and ser had "i forgot the name" its red wine with pineapple and orange i tink in it. quite nice. the place was nice didnt take foto cos we were on serious topic...

met gerald and we jus sat outside the ballroom and talked for awhile and serene drove us home. Sat met CK & Grace... finally tying the knot... wonder if i am in good shape to attend tomolo's school function at asian civilasation museum... what to wear? on medication cannot drink xianzzz

gana slapped!

yesterday morning was anotr stupid start! i went office to request for students' envelope & saw a ex-collegue who came bac to sub for grade 2. So i walked over with arms open ready to hug and say HNY lor instead bloody hell she slapped me!

i was pissed! its not a tight slap but its a PAT with sound on my right cheek! i still have not swallowed it down still mad about it today! cos i get to see her prob till end of this wk or next! i asked her whats that for and i had to control myself cos 1st she is pregnant but i dun believe its right for anyone to take advantage to slap anyone! MAD. still very pissed! she asked me after school if it hurts and i ask her "WHAT DO YOU TINK?" she ask me dun be xiaoqi! when i met her today i siam dun wan to go near her she talked to me and i jus told her i had to hurry which is truth but i know i wasnt smiling... watever even if i was xiaoqi cos she didnt apologise. if she is not preg i would have argued on but dun tink i will slap her unless she goes on being crazy...

this morning GLOOMY sun rose later than usual and looks like gog to rain but didnt...
slow day hate the cramps sad ... have been listening to eason songs whatever i have on my ipod cos my cds are still at mum's ... today i kept repeating jus "wo de beri bao" during the concert this songs was the song tat make me almost tear... its the very 1st song i heard from him... i like the words in this song and he sang it so well with loads of feel... i feel sad when i hear this song

watched the hk concert and sort of glad ours was different cos its jus him, band and his songs his voice... its nice to see the performance but truely i rather hear him best when he jus stand and sing. not too bad after all his choice of songs for the concert cos at least most of the chinese consist of his eariler mandrin songs which i like... so happy gx cousin finally checked her email we are able to extend our stay in HK at her apartment...

bling bling VODKA!

woo lala thats my 1st impression of my GOLD vodka. such a goldie! reflects everything! my collegue who went Bali bought this as a gift for me! i am crazy over ABSOLUT vodka... recollecting bcos of some misperhaps i lost my whole collection. sad incident...lex talk abt gold.

its actually a casing that cover up the original blue vodka bottle and i refuse to crack open up incase can't fix back together. i still got to get a blue original and purple blackcurrant? and of cos the impossible red pepper... and what ever is new has anyone seen lychee someone told me theres such a flavour under absolut. i used to have double of each flavour and i was ready to opeen up once i had each double up... errr...

anyway now theres 2 yellow citron, 2 reddish bottle raspberry, 1 each peach,mandrin,vanilla,ruby red... when can i ever double up... xianz... so anyone who is travelling not buying any liquour do me a BIG favour pls help me get and i will pay u bac! thanx in advance... let me know!

great concert! for the first time i sat so near the stage! he was good! perfect pitch, great voice! but the only thing tat upsets me is that he sings mostly most! in mandrin! dun like! wanted to hear more cantonese! tink alot of us wanted that... quite sure. the row i was sitting prob agreed! dap & cousin on my right and 4 from hk prob work here on my left... we all sigh and was so disappointed when he chose to sing some songs in mandrin instead of cantonese version! so pissed thats how i felt. i kept saying half the song lah! sing half in mandrin and half in cantonese that i still dun mind! knew there was gog to be more mandrin but didnt expect so many thou...

when he sang "k song" i called gerald and he jus kept quiet and hear the whole song. wished he came... hopefully when he comes again gerald would go with me.

Eason's good hope when he comes back next time pls more cantonese no chinese even better or fewer or half the songs! will still want to hear him again. the encore was tremandous everyone stood up and its fun. for the 1st time i really dun care and enjoy... althou its chinese songs even to the end. its still nice.

my school holiday is OVER !!!

goodnessssss this is 3rd week. i am done! especially this week been waking up almost everyday at 9am then finally up at 11am. tomolo is the day liao. its really over by stroke of midnite... i said gosh its last week on monday 1st and fast its tomolo. had surprise party on 1st for uncle's bdae, watched a night at the museum finally caught this movie, went ikea tampines with Gerald & mum, do nothing and nuah ta hm discuss hk trip, suppose to meet serene for lunch but she cancelled cos she was recalled for work... hols cut short! but it became a very busy day for me after Dap called ask me out for TEA...

i got out early to help aunt monitor nesa her 3rd day at school! eager to see her in her uniform cos tats the uniform i had many donkey years ago! she is in the same class as me! super mid day sun and when i reach the gate the guard told me no parents allowed in school today! i was like WHAT! then i say i really dun know and say i old sch gal wanna see school... they say sorry no visitors allowed in school premises! very tight security which is good but i walk all the way there from home... so i gave up went to the coffeeshop next to the school for lunch. there used to be a very nice chicken rice stall that i had lunch with my classmates we would always eat that when we went out for lunch! but now its not the same not nice! too bad the skills and recipe is not pass down to this generation...

since i was early and hot i called mel for appointment... g dun realy like it...he say too short.but i tink its fine not as nice as before a little weird but my hair grows fast not worried. its was outa shape and needed to be short better for work! met dap at borders i bought 3 books to continue my reading on trains, fengshui mags for cny tips, a bali decor mag. she too cut her hair! she did it a day b4 me! ate at double o the same stuff we can't seem to had enough chicken wings and of cos spike d but i ordered a chicken mushroom pie... not gog to order next round! walked to taka to finish up the taka vouchers... bot 2 red pillow cases for cny! theres no space for more bedsheets so i now invest only in pillow cases to update the look! we are gog to eason concert tomolo! finally!

Hong Kong & Macau

if you been to HK or Macau please contribute your findings! What should I not miss, where to eat, shop, relax? wats best? cos i wanna do up an iternery by fri before i start work next week! once back to work i wil be so tired after school sure nuah... i know its jus HK and Macau but i wanna make sure i idun miss anything out! we both always need it planned out roughly know wats available. upcoming will be weekends filled with spring cleaning, baking cookies for new year lah. shopping for nian gao, and otr stuff for new year... this year i will take fotos of things brought by mum for new year! cos she will cook for 30 pax almost for 3 days in a row during new year and of cos last till 15th day! and of cos we do our own yusheng every year will have to take pics of the carrots and radish used! and after cny will look forward to HK trip will be travelling end of March thats when my 1 week sch hols starts. that sounds so near oredi!

year end parties

after xmas it rained and rained and i got myself stuck at home 2 whole days not getting out. trapped at home i felt so lazy! chatting with angeline almost eveyday when i log on cos she oso very eng like me. but for the 2 nites i have been busy packing and cleaning the room. yes i had so much energy and slept too much in the day i pack room at nite.
thank goodness friday was sunny went out to bishan with ann to get stuff. we did up nesa's room fot her to get ready for school! primary one in the same school i studied years ago (not gog to count or recall) but its nicer cos they pull down the own school and rebuilt! i am gog to check it out one day cos i will be looking out for her next week when she starts sch.

30th dec! Serena's bdae! thank goodness bdae gal was calmer than i tot when i told her i had to helped aunt out writing names on nesa's books! i was gog to meeting her 1 & half hrs late. rush like mad and got to meet her at 12.30pm instead of breakfast we met for lunch. walked all the way to orchard hotel area brought her to an irish pub. there were a group of angmos who were oredi drinking making loud conversations prob drank quite a bit liao! we sat at a corner by ourselves. forgot to take the window we were sitting next too! i like but it could have reflected badly anyway! so after we ordered we took fotos!

i like the place! thankgoodness its serena 1st time. i ordered a irish lamb stew i like it and serena order a beef pie. the name of hers was longer.... can't remember. she say hers was good... i dun take beef so only try the pastry nice and buttery.i jus wanted juice and i had to pay $7.50 for my cranberry juice. it was ex and if i double up i could get another irish stew!

We went tanglin mall cos i need to meet dap but she was late so we sat down and we had milkshake. I had passionfruit while serena's choc. after which serena left to meet her sis for bdae gift i stayed with dap till 5...

i had to leave early to rush home to change for wedding dinner at safra yishun. good thing was we could meet the rest of them for KTV to celebrate Serena & Ben's bdae! they went dinner at the new khatib bottle tree where you can do prawning i tink. Right after the dinner we went to take pic with BIG pichachu! so huge!

then we joined them to sing till 2am i tink... classic after so many years i sang Lemon tree with shanice... that was really years back 10??? After that we proceed to Jalan Kayu on Shanice's dad TRUCK (as serena's will call it)... 4 gals squeeze at back seat and kok leong, gerald and Weide sat OPENAIR behind... after an hour morning coffee and chat we headed home! slept!poor gerald he had to work on 31st afternoon shift.
