2 cakes and more!

saturday 10th : Aunt s' bdae tomolo. aunt k, ,me and ann planning for eat out for her bdae but she didnt wana go out and she planned her own bdae dinner. I helped to get satay from whampoa. bad news that my mil's market pet cat got hurt badly someone had slashed the kitty's leg and she bled terribly... mil was very upset and worse when she can't find the cat as it ran away when she wanted to see the wound...

went back and was glad uncle k made a special effort for aunt s' gift and aunt o got her kido to give aunt s flowers. ann and i gave aunt s g2000vouchers. got cousins to sign a bdae card for her. she got a durian cake which was goooood! favourite! we had a mini mahjong session and rushed to whampoa to see how mil was... not in good mood cos cat's still missing. i suggested carry on to break the sad... i dun like it. sil got her a "peach" cake. the tao was from crystal jade. mil was really not in the mood but oso no choice cos sil flying the next day early wee hours to hk and china to work. we gave her the watch ... she liked it but sad still... but better then sad all the way... we then went to meet soh, helen and mic for lust and caution.


Lust and caution. I hardly watched lee ang's movie. then for tony leung i hardly catch his artistic films cos gerald dun watch and i always missed it and unavailable on dvds... i like his acting and i think he is a very talented actor. dun think i ever see him act bad guy alot... so why this time he was ok to watch cos prob i nagged too many times about watching artistic film... and oso unexpected that TL would do sexual scenes... AND really i didnt expect more than 1 scene. he's daring! we caught midnite and we ended reaching home 4am!

Sunday 11th : gx slept 2hrs and woke up to send sil to airport. then we woke up at 2pm! i really cannot take late nites and esp when i am still trying to recover... went to meet sis in town to help her get her new red hp while gx went to help his fren out for wedding prep. its crazy i got hm late cos he accompanied his fren to send invites out! so late on mon morning so no choice got cab and arrived in time for work. work communication has got prob... new kid goofy kids... trouble. but i am taking things easy... counting down to days as collegues with tabby... monday dinner with gx family and 2nd aunt. ate crab at lorong 8. had my favourite creamy butter crabs and beehoon crab soup.

tuesday 13th : after school went to ps to meet ann for dinner and was xianz when gelare and secret recipe didnt have other kinds of cakes then cheese or chocolate avaliable. walked to robinson we stopped for my favourite mc himalayan tea latte then bot the cupcake dishes and walked on to taka to get mil cake. its my mil actual bdae. decided to get her Rive cake. i found the orange white chocolate cake interesting so i gave it try! glad it turned out good and fil liked it alot cos for the 1st time i hear him praise that the cake is nice! Mil is in a better mood cos the cat came back its recovering. she then took the watch we got for her and we taught her how to put on as this watch has a special catch. swavoski crytal rose gold plated black leather watch. she like it and thanked us. so glad she liked it.

wednesday : am tired jus now slept on the sofa... now laundry is in the machine and i gota hang it later... got 3 new cds... loading my newest worse buy ... lust and caution soundtrack... wanted the song the gal sang in the movie... dun have... lucky sstill got a few tracks ok but mostly minor keys so very almost scary to hear... got secret jay's movie sound track loved the piano pieces in the movie like most of the songs! haven really heard the other cd yet andrea bocceli. was just waiting patiently for his compliation! spent alot! more to come cos sunday gog for xmas cupcake course no hands on learning, going to learn how to use fondant. oso attending martina my collegues' wedding.
