26th-27th March 2007 (Monday)
love Macau! went there by ferry on our 3rd day. its rained. water was choppy. we slept for about 1hr on the ferry. reached our hotel, dumped our luggage and off we headed for the food. by accident we found cafe de nata, famous oso for eggtarts. we had cheesecake which was alittle different... grape flavoured. then we headed to Taipa, a small town for crab porridge, YUMMY! crab roe all mixed with the porridge. small crab thou unlike Singapore CRABS... but still its good a big bowl for 2 of us.

but within an hour we found our porkbun without difficulty... i left all Macau info in Singapore. but the town is small and lucky we decided to walk around to digest and found the famous porkbun. they were opened but will only serve porkbun at 3pm. so we had time but seriuosly hardly much thou ... so in 1hr time we had the yummiest porkbun. love the loaf they baked and of cos the pork! Gx had beef noodles, macau style. He's the man while waiting he saw beef so he order to try... i dun eat beef so he had so much more than i did!

we headed to next village, Coloane. Lord Stow cafe. they serve the best eggtarts i have ever eaten. we were very full so we shared one. (we did packed 5 takeaways for his cousin and our breakfast back in HK) BuT ... we still ordered 2 more desserts... famous SERADURRA and their shop's own recipe tiramiSTOW. we love it! its GOOD! went walking to burn the food we had in our tummy. Korean Show Princess hours was filmed here. Xavier Chruch was in bright yellow and they have a nice sky blue mural. its so quiet here and it feels like jus 2 of us - seriously not many around.

next headed to hac sa beach for portugese dinner at Fernandos. My sis said the food is fantastic and it is... jus that we were really had too much... but still we went ahead to order 4 dishes - clams, roast piggy, roast chicken, soup(yucky) and their bread is nice but HUGE! had an alcholic cocktail, Sangaria - red wine, sprite, orange and lemon slices. quite nice. then went to see the night view of Ruin of St. Paul then to the Casinos. it was a LONG day.

27th March 2007 (Tuesday)
was nervous the next morning cos heading to Macau Tower to do the skywalk. its fun but i was nervous still even to the end. skywalk was quite an experience. Gerald's a daredevil - no kick but it is still interesting. he wants to do the skyjump if we ever go bac! headed bac to st paul, na cha temple got more local snacks for breakfast and sat at Macau local stall for lunch *he had curry oxtail noodles and the curry cannot be drank... so oily! then bac to HK!

took our 1st MINIBUS in HK. u really hav to shout to the bus driver where you wanna stop. alighted at Singapore International School and met up with his cousin. She treated us dinner at JUMBO seafood. we took a short ferry out to the sea to the floating ship restaurant. EXpensive dinner, food was good and totally forgot to take pics as we were catching up for the last time before we leave her apartment.

28th March 2007 (Wednesday)
arrived at Kimberly hotel, we were early so we dump luggage went shopping at silvercord, found the dessert sis recommended (better than XU LIU SHAN), ferry terminal, avenue of stars to walk and then headed bac. Police Drama. real HK police drama and its at our hotel. we were not allowed in. heard its a suicide, not sure didnt wana know. after almost 1hr we checked in and then rushed out to catch symphony of lights at avenue of stars. of many nights in HK, its was the coldest we had so we went to starbucks to keep warm.

Felix! one of my wish... to be at the phippe starck restaurant! Arrived at 9.45pm we headed to the bar as our dinner is at 10.15pm. LOVE IT! the experience was worth the money. the ambience, food, cutlery, the the TOILETS are unbelievable. personally LOVE IT, the bar - esp the hooks for the glasses *pretty stylish, the furniture, the interior decor to die for. LOve my guy, he didnt regret it he like the experience. BUT ITS ex. IT cost us S$300. Peninsula Hotel is so class... higher class then Raffles. when we left at about past 12mn, not many phamtoms rolls royce seen prob all out taking their guest around HK. so class.

29th March 2007 (Thursday)
next morning had the softest bolou bao. its so good. again he had beef... but everytime he tried its so different and they have all the COW parts! only when we came bac in a food mag i bought then we know the chai chan teng infront of our of hotel is famous! so lucky! their food is not bad. its our 8th anniversary on 29th march, we celebrated at disneyland HK. wholeday walking around, taking photos and rides. best way to end the trip is to watch the fireworks! beautiful. best buy was my potato head from toystory! haven wear out stitch tees. will post pic, the tee is cute!

30th March 2007 (Friday)
after breakfast at the same cafe, we spend almost whole morning at Lautau Island's Buddha. we took cablecar up, its a long trip. saw the airport, jus land and sea scenery all the way. the buddha stautue was HUGE! i find it very peaceful. the stairs were many but its worth it. headed to shatin to the entry-free snoopy park. ITS ALL ABOUT SNOOPY! so many characters, some larger then lifesize! we love snoopy, thats why we skipped gog to the other temples.... had a very yummy fish-soup noodles sis recommended. i had sharkfins in my noodles and shark meatballs... his porkchop noodles were yummy.

the walk was endless when we went ladies street and walked all the way to Yau ma tei and lucky found my favourite steamed milk but we tried steam egg instead not as good... alittle disappointed. regretted walking into a da pai dong which was very dirty but lucky the food tasted good and we didnt have stomach aches. walked all the way bac to hotel... packed up and ready to go home.
