Day 3

day 3: after breakfast we head to Sun Zhong Shan memorial hall. the place was huge. we can see 101 from here. we were in time to catch the change of guards. it happens every hour. then we went on to see the exhibits.

We then went to eat lunch at Formosa Chang. We had some kind of meat rice. we ordered some side dishes to share. the dessert which was white fungus with red dates was good. it was cooling and sweet.

we head to Wufenpu to shop. this is a place like bugis street. but the difference is that here its HUGE. many many small turns and many shops! tops average was about NT 190 or NT200. thats about S$10. with the hot weather bad leg i got tired easily. muscle pulled badly. i managed to get 6 tops but they are all flare tops cos here no trying. its either free size or sml and their L is like M! got a belt. gx only managed a top. we took a break and had soyabean curd with pearls! so many pearls the taiwanese are very generous.

i was so happy when i saw a cafe. we sat to rest. when we were almost done we were on our feets again! tot it was almost impossible to meet cos when we radio them they were not reachable but we were lucky we managed to meet.
next stop was to new york new york and 101. headed to NY,NY 1st.
lucky me when we went into agnes b the lady told me there was 30% storewide. checked out a bag and when she further discount tax rebate i had to had it! hee he was sitting on the agnes b sofa refuse to acknowledge me! but gx agreed to buy me the bag! i was so damn happy! went to get the tax rebate done and we were given vouchers to use. so we headed down to the food court and had some drinks. we even had enough for a pizza and spagetti. then we head for 101. the lift was so fast. we got onto the 89 storey i think and walked around to view taipei city nite view. the 2 of us went climbing the stairs to 90 storey.

then we took a cab to raohe market. i dun like this market cos too crowded cos their layout is centre of the street is filled with stalls and tables for people to sit. here they serve more hot soup stuff like mutton soup and bak kut teh. hate the squeezing dun like crowd. the corn looks good but not nice. the seasoning too strong for my liking.
made it all the way to the end and we found the famous pepper bun. while the rest q i sat down at a almond drink, different flavoured beancurd stall to rest. the beancurd was quite special and nice. tried the almond and dabao the mango flavoured both nice!
then after buying the long awaited buns we headed to sit down to have bak kut teh. after that we had a big bowl of shaved mango ice! then it was back to hotel. i was exhausted. i even put ko york on both of my leg!
