busy busy weekend!

friday : gx came back with durians from jb... but the durian became warmed cos he was stuck in a jam. still i was glad that some of the durian was good. one was gigantic in size.

saturday : stayed at home whole day till nite went to mums for dinner. before that i was snacking from my basket almost the whole day. yes i do have my own basket of snacks. the best new find which i bought some time back and forgoten... this is really nice and i liked this so much better than the original cos the strawberry got "seeds" and taste not just sweet. chocolate sticks taste good with it. not getting any cos i still got loads of snacks.

then after sending in-laws home it was bowling time! our last till family bowling day cos the boys' exams are round the corner. we started playing from 12mn till 4am.

our group lost... 1st round -drinks winners won 2nd round oso - burgers... home @ 5.45am

Sunday : woke up at 1pm! rushed to go to Christine's baby showers. Baby Adela was sleeping throughout her party.

when i was at Christine place... i had many mixed feelings. NOPE not the baby issue. the place i was at used to be the my grandma's place, where i grow up. Nostagic? not the flat thou cos they pulled down the flat and built new ones. got gerald to drop me at a bakery that my family frequent. i was nervous to see if its around or gone. it was around! the same uncle but aged alot. i was rather disapointed when i can't find my favourite - mochi. esp the peanut filling one. i tot he no longer make them so i asked the uncle and it was sold out. will be back another day to get them for mum and uncles and aunts. got mum's other favourite - coconut tarts and butter cupcakes. no time to walk the familiar walkway as we need to rush off...

we went to ann's place, gx had a long talk with uncle J and then we left for pat house. we were there to see their new car... Black mercedes. C180. PRETTY mean machine. we were invited for dinner. she cooks thai very well! she has her spice garden. the basil she used in the green curry is really fragrant. i want my own spice garden too. the steamed fish sauce was good too! i practically was eating one dish dinner cos i loved the green curry alot!

Monday - woke up with a terrible spinning head. seriously spinning and pounding. called in sick was sniffy non-stop, hate flubug! couldnt get any rest cos head hurts. whole day spent on bed. Till now i am still feeling sick and weak. after work i nap once home. wake up to break the sleeping spell.
