i had a Fantastic Friday!

when i got to know gx had happy hour with his ex-collegues on friday, i had to find my own programme. The next day when i was about to ask friends out, i was lucky to be invited to V's house. After school on friday, 5 of us took taxi to her place, Ir joined us much later but before our early dinner. Her place is very nicely decorated. very comfortable. I like the decor alot. She prepared alot of food! i learnt how to prepare some new dishes and can't wait to prep for my family to try!

the mango salad and viet spring roll were really good. i like the squid the most! its soft and chewy! taste very nice! the chicken was very delicious. the bittergourd with brinjal and longbeans was a new combination, never in chinese dishes we stirfry these 3 veg together! these are dishes from Philippines! i love the fried fish, simple but it had crispy skin.

dessert was something like our glutinous rice balls except that it is flat and oval in shape.then it is dry version coated in fresh coconut shreds. then served with sesame and sugar! i like this reminds me of mochi and first time try it with coconut!

we had wine, drinking in the dark, jus lights from the lamps in the living and dining room and many candles lighting up the room. love the atmosphere! love the blackcurrant schnapps she served! we had a long chat and i really love the dinner and company. we are gog to have another round in L's house in June! looking forward to it!
