Week 12

bad start to my week but it got better after school on wednesday. In mood of no work, not so much that its thanksgiving. we are closed for 2 days. 2 days are precious and i started using my time wisely since 3.15pm on Wed! yes finally found my wire to transfer pics from hp. Cute right! the mum has all the patience to make this turkey cookie for her daughter's class and ex-tchers! met up with Eton house ex-collegues. these bunch are my close, still in contact friends. lots of changes in Eton some left and most not in contact. Aishah still looks the same but her daughter sure is so much taller, ready for primary 1 next year. Alice is still the same. Only Alice didnt know the good news yet and was very happy for me! We sat at a organic restaurant and i ordered lots of food! Fried tempura prawns, drumlets, sweet potato vitnamese spring roll and lots more. we yak till sun went down! then i shop around by myself till gx came to fetch me. glad i did my grocery shopping! best buy was Florida orange juice with strawberry and it was nice! met his XiFu. She is very nice and we chatted very well over dinner at Whampoa. head home and slept!

Thursday 27th. woke up close the doors for gx. he went to work but i didnt go back to sleep. i went on packing alittle in the room and prepared to go meet dap. she took 2 days off! we went back to the nasi padang shop opp great world city and ate up a storm at 11+am. filled we head to great world to look for my maternity evening wear... disappointed! then we head to tanglin. another big blow! nothing! we then walked to adelphi? tried on something and nope! we then rest at Marmalade Pantry at Palai Renaissance. my 3rd time at Marmalade Pantry. we ordered a quiche to share and i love the tapioca, yam and potato chips that is prob fried in-house. We shared a huge slice of "very rich chocolate" truffle cake to share... its so rich that we took many breaks, eating at our own sweet time. somehow time flew and we left and continued shopping from 4pm. (pics to be updated if, whenever i get them from dap). we walked on till 8pm+ and head home and was glad i managed to find the evening wear for sis' wedding. its simple but i love it! its not from maternity houses!!! i was so tired when i got home to rest my feet!

Friday 28th - went to thomson medical to do my Oscar Scan. left the hospital smiling! amazed with what we saw! our little one is so active! then gx went back to work. i met up with dap and we ate lunch. then we did the panna cotta. she loves the berries sauce alot! then we end up watching tv and we both fell asleep! then she left to meet her frens and i went to meet mum for dinner at tpy lor 5. my mum loves the char kway teow there! called the gynae for the report and got alittle scare from him! he paused and said there is a little percentage that ... i froze! then he confirmed my name again and realise his nurse gave the wrong report! he said baby's fine and we are in very good condition! after dinner i head home. while gx snack for his dinner and we chatted. still very excited with what he saw our baby did in the morning!

Saturday 29th -Gx was on his alternate sat off. we went to lucky plaza to find food. wanted to eat yong taufu but we came across many other little food stalls and we took a peek at everyone of them. instead we settle for this Indonesian cafe. i ordered the avocado drink and no regrets! i love this combi or avocado with chocolate sauce! nice! gx' happy drink is like gassy bandung. nice! first time after preg that i slip soda!

gx ordered the grilled chicken. very fragrant! small portion thou... cos after this stop we continued eating alot more! i ordered the sotong ayam. it was not bad, tasted almost like our favourite in bali! but it was quite salty towards the end! still i find this not bad! i enjoyed my lunch alot! i want more of the avocado!!!

went on with our shopping at tangs. he managed to get stuff and we head to grab our 2nd bite at orange julius. shared my favourite chilli melt and OJ. then we head to massimo and zara to check out his cufflink shirt. went to meet sis in taka but she was at wisma so we ended up we went tcc for coffee break and we ordered carbonara spag! nope not me... its was gx who wanted to eat it! then met up with sis settled her accessories for wedding and we parted. we head home and while i rest, gx went to wash the car. then we head home for dinner. told little one's uncles about the scan and they were all amazed. cos many even we tot baby's prob in a sleeping couching position most of the time! head home i fell asleep! sil bot special durian dessert but i was in lala land! gog to eat it later and bet its good cos my sil loves durian like me!
