FIL's bdae celebration

after work went to taka to collect the cake and rushed home to go to singapore flyers.

so so worried when we saw a long q on monday! it was a company event. we didnt have to squeeze with them but we planned our timing when to walk in. we wanted to catch sunset to nitefall. we walked very slow to avoid joining the family of 10pax and i was praying hard no one behind us. when we enter the indian gal insisted we walk faster to join that family in their cabin... we refused and walked really slow. she was weird stating that we have to cos theres a group behind... but they werent gog to make it for the empty cabin either! she gave up and we got our way! we had the whole cabin to ourselves! just the 5 of us! the cabin was like a space shuttle.

we were very happy to be able to move around freely! we jus keep snapping photos and enjoying the view! when we reached the top it was really something special! we were at the top of the flyer, about 42 storey high! the trip was about 30mins.

headed for dinner at marina. fil bdae so had to have chinese and we chose dian xiao er.

the last time at vivo we didnt get to eat cos shop blackout. we were pretty lucky cos we have a table straight away without havng to q. they dun take reservations.

we ordered quite a few dishes and a bottle of nu er hong for fil! the food was nice i like the xo fried rice and their signature duck! yums. i like the warmed nu er hong!

cut the bdae cake back home! the same cake i got for mil last year cos fil said that the cake was nice. dun remember the name but its an orange flavoured cake. the last time we ate it seems nicer cos the orange was little more sour. that taste better with the sweet cream. nevertheless still a nice cake.
