i love April!

forgot to add this FIL's chinese bdae. just before his trip, i got him a durian cake. this cake had to wait for it to defrost for 1hr on the dining table before we could eat it... but we decided to cut cake in 30mins and the durian cream part was icy... no taste... but when we had it the next day cos it continue to defrost in the lower compartment ... the taste so different! it was not bad but really the real fruit in the hand would taste so much better! for cake this is not too bad. from emi.

then on a rainy day think wed, i made steamed egg but mil dun like cos she dun like the taste of eggs... the raw taste... she eats it when they are cooked with onions etc... i added little sugar then i didnt like the hl milk i used... should use full-cream! so to add taste i used the spanish sugar dap gave me. better!

sil came back from her work trip. and she got CJ7 from china. saw a few kinds in tpy but not cute one. luckily she got the cuter one and this one looks more like it.

went with gx to collect his pants in orchard oso we went to look for gift for fil bdae and then i met dap to pick up my cookies... 2 boxes of dozen boxes of double choco pretzel pucca! she too bought 2 boxes of 12! i saw this hat and knew i want this for work! yes for work! the sun has been scorching even in the morning at 7,30am when i am on duty! the worse is at 11... the heat unbearable and this hat has a very wide rim and and the best part it is able bend in all ways! can even so cowboy hat! love my hat!

saturday 5th: went to pray with mum, bro and gx. first time at chua chu kang. my grandfather has moved when we were getting married. so this is my first time. we then turned into qian hu. since we were so near it and mum hardly travel out and esp all the way there, we turned in! brother was a guide. he 1st showed us the arowana ponds.. so many! then we went tank after tank to see all the different fishes! bro just went on to intro the fishes and he's excited. can tell! then i suggested to bring mum to woodland where she wanted to check out the place i bot my salmon.

mum walked into the cold room and started shopping! she filled her basket full!
her shopping list : a packet of shishamo, 3 mackeral, 2 seasoned octupus, 4 grilled eels, a packet of huge scallops, a box of little silver fishes and my mum never buy salmon! then we head home for lunch. gx went home to be with his mum while i stay at mum's. sis bdae. mum cooked curry. i helped to peel the potatoes and fell asleep on sofa.

cousins nite out. we went to yishun safra to bowl. we split into 2 teams and played 3 games. hand pain and now shoulder very pain! too long never excerise... i didnt get any strikes, got a few spares... ben was teased about his bowling shoes cos he was the only one who gana the colourful shoes.

Sunday 6th: appointment with sis to go see her new house! d & her bot a unit at boon keng. nice setting but really ex. its actually better than la casa layout. we did sit down to do our calculations and we decided no cos its not exactly where we wnat to stay. mum went back with sis while we bring mil to go get fil a gift. we popped by to singapore flyers to check out the place 1st. we ate late lunch at 3pm at popeyes. the biscuits were hot from oven and they really taste better when hot!

then gx turned too early and we ended taking a long way to suntec. when we were at the highway i managed to take pics of the flyer. not long at suntec cos we were tired and the weather prob make us felt tired we left very soon without getting anything. sil managed to get fil the tops. pretty excited that we are gog on the flyer on monday!
