sas dinner

Year end dinner at Mandrin Meritius. thou school doesnt end till june. got used to saying year start in august and year end in june. dinner was mostly finger food not much variety but not too bad... the ball room was huge quite nice...think its newly renovated. took some group picture with lynn's camera, guess she will email them to me. it was standing dinner and my feet hurt not that my new shoe gave me problem but its the 2 and half hour of standing! nice white wine, had 2 glasses and not very fillled but not hungry.

we left and head to meet my uncle m. he invited us to join him for drinks. 1st time at the wine company. dim lit, didnt see clearly the place but feels cosy. he had 5 other frens and they just finish dinner. 4 of them were his biz frens and one very smart guy working for him. they shifted out to the back and outdoor area for more drinks. they open their 3rd bottle. the red was nice. i never fancy red but it was good. dun think its cheap thou... they were fun. thou older than us but they were all very witty, verbally challenging each other. i learnt alot from them. they discussed many things joke about everything... 4th bottle, the same as the 3rd... i missed the white they had during dinner. heard it was good... they started to mellow down and share experiences of having too much to drink... then the 5th bottle to wrap up the day and i dun like the 5th one... and the conversation became a seriuos biz talk. the whole meet up was suppose to be biz talk but it was kept to very end at 12mn... challenging and i felt enriched to see the procedure... i live in such a simple world... peaceful compared to the real world. at first i started a little inferior... but i gained more confident to just flaunt what i am. guess i make my mark. my conversation sparks lots of interest. i am glad to be there. should i challenge myself or continue to lie low? i am glad my uncle showed us the way yesterday nite.

i like my hair last nite. they were very obedient cos usually even when i blow it, it still curls. that's one of my new dress i bot. finally i gota wear my 2nd piece! 1st piece i wore was when i went out with serena. can't wait for serene's wedding!

the dress look brown from far but its actually brown lace over light purple lining. so when close its looks kinda 2 tones. was looking high and low for a lite purple thin shawl and purple heels to match the dress in town but instead i found them all in tpy central yesterday just before rushing home to prep for the dinner! next time i will start hunting in tpy 1st!
