changes and i love that some things are kept old.

thou i did mention that i would blog less but i still want to share good places for a good meal.

many things happened during end of june. good things.

i was excited to be invited to Song's and Jaz's new home-warming party. But was puzzled what to buy and cos after some discussions with mr soh and mic, they do have everything they need. i suddenly think that i could buy the gifts for the kids! got nesa to help me out. brought aunt k and nesa to Big O to have late lunch. learnt a new dish here today.

Tomato soup! i love the combi they did. they added bacon and loads of croutons! (anyway I tried cooking the soup yesterday for lunch. I had a HUGE bowl and saved gx a bowl. he doesnt really like tomato but he tried the soup i made and loved it.

their new home is beautifully done up. lots of work has been done. guess they put in alot of effort cos the renovation cost very high! it was good to see some familiar faces but yes we do feel that some people still avoid gx bah... they body gesture very obvious just that they dun know esp they kept their conversation short. haha scared? dun know but i know i am getting used to it. only those who ask him got to know he has started a new adventure but we are not out of the distribution list cos my relatives and some of his frens are still using the products.

too bad we had to leave early to meet sis cos she insisted and needed my opionions. i think its the support she needed more than opionions. so we missed catching up with people who we knew better... dun know when we will meet again. sis's wedding gown, evening gown and cheongsam - beautiful! she looked great in it. very pretty like a princess very like my sis style. she looked very sweet. love her evening gown colour very striking! lucky she took my suggestion to try all colours and we found the right colour for her!

busy day continued with dinner with old friends. gx and i was looking forward to meet soh and helen. we were very happy for them as they are having their 1st child. we head to west to eat at this korean bbq restaurant. they recommended this place and its really crowded! as we didnt make a reservation so we had to wait. their appetiser dishes were countless! our table were filled! loved some of these korean appetisers, esp the sweet potato mash. the seasoned pork was yummy with the fresh veg leaves. the mushrooms are raw tasting cos no seasoning but yummy... we didnt stop there thou just 4 of us, we ordered a seafood hotpot. the squid in it is enormous! its really HUGE! the lady cut it up into many pieces and gosh we just kept chewing it!


Monday 23rd : cut my hair every in the morning. i decided its time to chop it off cos i felt very draggy in my mid length hair... moreover i wanted to make a change to signify the new change that i was awaiting. after the cut rushed to town to shop with sis for her accessories for photoshoot. after that rushed for class. for 3 days i was in class and i was glad i attended.

Thursday 26th : i taught 2 frens how to do the tiramisu. i did one huge tray for Pats and the rest of the group. Friday, i got my nail done at snails to attend my frens' wedding. used up the voucher given to me by my students. nice place to get nails done. ex thou! i used my voucher on manicure and a foot spa with leg massage followed by pedicure. then got home to pick up my tiramisu and went to office with it but most of them were not there. so i called patsy and out of no where we arranged dinner at her place almost immediately. learnt to do a new recipe today : doupok but must serve with pats' special thai chili sauce! its so yummy i ate so many! the chicken liver with cucumber slices was yummy. its sauce is vinegar based. it so good! love the dishes pats cooks!

Saturday 28th: morning managed to get an hour of massage at angies. got 2 decleor massage products. my primary school mate's wedding dinner! ser got married in Switzland the month before. would have love to attend her wedding in such a beautiful country but work doesnt permit... she had a very lovely chruch ceremony and her wedding was so beautiful!


Sunday 29th : went home early to help mum with chores cos she was suppose to cook up a storm for her 2nd set of future in-laws! glad that we had this lunch cos i made contact with dad. when i saw my wedding pics... then i was really slim! hee... managed to massage for mum using the products i got from angie. after the event ended, gx was kind enough to send me to holland v to shermay cooking school to pick up my cocoa powder for tiramisu and 65% equtorial chocolate and oso white ivory chocolate - gog to do more candy with nesa. this time we are gog to do roses candy. got a new bottle madadasgar vanilla paste. was so glad shermay was having sale on these items! went to isetan to pick up more hokkaido ramen!

This week - its gog to be homely week. laundry week! got tons to handwash! changed bedsheets! gog to finish up angie's spa projects, rearrange room stuff, pack up and cooking! need to clear alot of things that i still owe others! burn photo cds for family... so many events!!! also i have been using the new products to massage for gx cos he works very hard and i want to learn how to massage so i have been reading instructions and testing it on him! wrote out a list of things to do and need to plan my steps. Booked new cooking classes in a new cooking school to learn more stuff. look forward to attend class! even thought of taking dancing class or yoga.... need to get moving. am still slow moving but am glad i am moving! one cannot stop learning. thats very important!
