Charlotte au Fraise
Sunday 21st
4th baking class -Charlotte au Fraise, was very excited to learn how to do this cos i always find this cake very pretty. this was fun to make! so we start making the biscuit first. then when its baking we start making the cream cheese mousseline.
then we assemble the cake! with patience the assembling of the biscuit became easier. then we top up the charlotte with loads of cream cheese mousseline. then chef nan showed me one way to decorate this little pretty cake.
this cakes taste so good! i like it alot. for these i chopped up the strawberries and mixed it with the mousseline. then topped with just mousseline. with extras round base, we topped a spoonful of mousseline then a strawberry and that makes it into another way to serve as a dessert.
then at the end of the course, we are given a certificate of participation of the whole baking course. we took a group photo. we have been together for 2 weekends, learning and baking together. they were a nice group of people and i will be seeing one of the gals for next sunday's chocolate making class.
looking forward to attend more of Chef Nan's classes! wished i could go chicago with her...
