presents

Lazy start for friday 19th... we woke up late at 9+am. am so lucky that school is closed today! gx managed to take a day off. we left the house at 1pm. we head to sushi tei at raffles city to use up my remaining vouchers.

after ordering for the food, i realise the mirror above us, so i experimented with the camera! gx decided to order some dishes he haven try before. we liked the spicy scallops! they were better than the spicy topshell.

the grilled squid was cold... shouldn't it be at least warm? so weird! the kaminabe or the paper steamboat was nice. we tried the spicy soup base, wasn't that spicy, it was not bad.

it was a seafood meal! everything we ordered was seafood! even the fried rice we ordered was crab fried rice. i had craving for fried rice but this was not as nice as it looked in the menu...

after the jap late lunch, we started shopping for some things needed for the big party bash next sat! was so glad to be able to find the things i needed! then we travelled to somerset. gx managed to book for a session of massage finally! gosh its been so long since we went to true spa cos everytime we tried to make a booking, we are always told its FULL.
we were directed to their new spa at cuppage. they revamp the row of shophouses behind centrepoint, right next to cuppage. true spa now occupies the whole 2nd level. here the service seems better. i really dun like my coordinator! her service is terrible! tell me on one hand that i can't have any slots but on the other hand keep calling my referals which one happens to be my aunt, persuading her to go try out their service! so ironic!

the rooms seems bigger here... the only difference is the little led lights above the jacuzzi tub. like stars, they change colours like xmas lightings. we are choosing to come back here cos we liked the service here better.

after the spa, we returned to cuppage wanton noodles store for the 2nd time! 1st time we ate here is becos the jap restuarant i wanted to try was closed in the afternoon. when we walked pass this store, it was filled with people. i love fried wantons! but here the wantons are different! they marinate the pork filling with something i know as namyu... smells good and makes it taste so good! i wana bring my mum here! think she will like it! as for the noodles, i dun really fancy the sauce very much...
after our dinner, we walked to heeren to check out the adidas store. we are here to buy tees. thanks to dap for the discount coupons! gx managed to get 2 shorts but they didnt have what i wanted so we walked to paragon. we got a tee each and this was my anniversary gift from gx. he paid for the dinner as a treat which was about $120+
we managed to get all the party stuff and lucas presents! i always find it difficult to buy boys' gifts! i got myself a children's baking cookbook! after using a $5 voucher and 20% off, i got this at a very good price. its a step by step book that i am gog to use with nesa during this dec hols!
as for me, i bot gx a leather namecard holder from Jim Thompson. very simple brown leather cardholder... i got such a good deal for it! got it at 70% off! great buy! he knows about it! then i got him 6 ties! the one he wore for the anniversary dinner was my favourite among the ones i bought for him. thats why he kept that tie for our special occasion.

not counting my desserts i made from my classes, the mango pannacotta was specially made for gx. also the 3d stitch puzzle i got for us ... we are gog fix that this coming sunday after my baking class!
