unexpected dinner

monday... draggy! gosh was so tired ... but lucky it started to pour heavily after i got off the bus in school. looked forward to the end of the day to meet ann. we went to chinatown for dessert. yes again! before having the dessert we ate yong doufu at people park hawker... this stall is famous but i felt that they slacked cos the soup base has got not much taste.

then we head to have dessert. as usual ann is here for her yam, onee. i went ahead to try the peanut ice-shaving. its not bad but compared to taiwan's... of cos taiwan's ice is nicer! but its was nice to have something similiar here... really miss the huaduo bing! then we went in search of the shotglass. recommended by chef nan, she told me theres a shop that sells pretty reasonable priced shotglasses, can be used for vodka (haha) or mousse desserts in a glass. after that i rushed home for monday dinners with in-laws. Mil suggested to go have a nice meal today. she say just like 3 years ago, we had our wedding dinner on a monday and its on the same lunar calendar day. that didnt cross my mind!


we went to try out a new crab restuarant in tpy industrial park lor8. the food is not bad. the pork was very nice, i didnt get to see the menu this not sure whats it called. but it was really soft and yummy. the prawns were the best dish that nite. i like the creamy pumpkin sauce, spiced up with curry leaves. this is a must try!

for the 1st time, we ordered salted egg coated crab. and also for the 1st time i ever see crab stack up high, one on top of each parts! we were like playing stacko when we pull out a piece to eat. quite nice but can't have too much of this thou, even thou i love salted eggs! mouth gets pretty dry. we were served durian pudding, but this was ok only... the meal overall was not too bad. thou its in a coffeeshop area, we sat in the air-conditioned area.
